Responsibilities:

– Provide instruction and support to students in various subjects, including math, literacy, and special education. – Follow lesson plans and curriculum provided by the regular classroom teacher. – Adapt teaching methods and materials to meet the individual needs of students, including those with autism or other developmental challenges. – Maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes learning and student engagement. – Monitor student behavior and enforce classroom rules and procedures. – Collaborate with other teachers and staff to ensure a cohesive educational experience for students. – Provide feedback to the regular classroom teacher regarding student progress and any issues that arise during the day.

Requirements:

– High School diploma and experience in education or a related field preferred. – Experience working with children in a classroom or tutoring setting. – Knowledge of childhood development and effective teaching strategies. – Familiarity with special education practices and accommodations for students with diverse learning needs. – Strong communication skills, both verbal and written. – Ability to adapt quickly to different classroom environments and follow established lesson plans. – Patience, flexibility, and a passion for working with children.

Job Types:

$80.00 – $110.00 per day
