Holy Trinity School Avon 4.6 4.6 out of 5 stars Holy Trinity, AL Holy Trinity School Full Time Building Substitute Holy Trinity School Avon, Ohio This full-time position is designed for an individual who will serve as the primary substitute teacher for kindergarten to 8th grade within our school building. The role ensures that we can maintain continuity of instruction and a stable learning environment when regular teachers are absent. On days when coverage is not needed, the building sub will support the school through additional duties, such as classroom assistance, small group instruction, and student supervision.

Key Responsibilities:

Serve as the first responder for daily substitute needs across all grades (Preschool-8th Grade). Follow lesson plans left by the teacher and ensure a productive and respectful classroom environment. Provide support to students in various instructional settings when not needed for sub coverage. Assist in classroom preparation, material organization, and student supervision during lunch, recess, or transitions as needed. Collaborate with faculty and staff to uphold the mission and values of Holy Trinity School.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree required (Education degree preferred). Valid Ohio Substitute Teaching License (or ability to obtain one). Strong classroom management and communication skills.
