Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans for children in literacy education, early intervention, physical education, and other subjects
• Create a nurturing and stimulating classroom environment that promotes learning and development
• Provide individualized attention and support to students with diverse learning needs
• Monitor and assess student progress, adjusting teaching strategies as necessary
• Collaborate with parents and guardians to ensure open communication and involvement in their child’s education
• Maintain accurate records of student attendance, behavior, and academic performance
• Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills

Skills:

• Strong knowledge of literacy education principles and techniques
• Proficient in lesson planning and curriculum development
• Experience working with children of various ages, including toddlers and preschoolers
• Ability to effectively communicate with students, parents, and colleagues
• Familiarity with early intervention strategies for students with special needs
• Knowledge of childcare best practices and safety guidelines
