Job Overview:

Space Coast Discovery is seeking dedicated Substitute Teachers to join our dynamic team. As a Substitute Teacher, you will play a vital role in maintaining the continuity of instruction and ensuring a nurturing and engaging environment for our students.

Duties:

1. Implement lesson plans provided by the regular classroom teacher. 2. Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment conducive to learning and growth. 3. Supervise students in various settings, including classrooms, playgrounds, and during transitions. 4. Support students’ social and emotional development by providing guidance and encouragement. 5. Maintain open and effective communication with colleagues, parents, and administrators. 6. Adhere to school policies and procedures, including safety protocols and behavior management strategies. 7. Flexibly adapt to the needs of different grade levels and subject areas, from infants to sixth grade. 8. Ensure the safety and well-being of students at all times.
