The substitute teacher will follow the curriculum and lesson plans provided by the regular teacher to maintain continuity in the classroom. Flexibility is essential, as duties may vary based on the specific needs of the classroom and school. Key responsibilities include Implementing lesson plans and achieving lesson goals. Assigning and explaining homework to students. Supervising students in various areas, including hallways and the cafeteria. Adhering to all school regulations and policies. Taking attendance and documenting daily notes on student progress. Maintaining a clean and organized classroom environment. Managing daily classroom routines and activities. Preparing a detailed report for the regular teacher upon their return. Reporting to morning and afternoon post.
