Full Job Description Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Elementary School Teacher to join our dynamic educational team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating a nurturing and engaging learning environment for students, while fostering their social, emotional, and cognitive development. The successful applicant will have a strong foundation in literacy education, mathematics, and classroom management, with a keen interest in special education and childhood development. Duties:

• Develop and implement lesson plans that align with the school’s curriculum, while incorporating relevant and engaging learning materials.
• Teach students in grades K-5, utilizing a variety of instructional strategies to cater to different learning styles and abilities.
• Create and maintain a safe and organized classroom environment, ensuring a positive and inclusive atmosphere for all students.
• Provide individualized support and tutoring to students who require additional guidance, as well as support for students with special needs.
• Collaborate with colleagues to design and implement curriculum, while contributing to ongoing professional development.
• Utilize classroom management techniques to promote student engagement, discipline, and behavior management.
• Monitor student progress and adjust instruction to meet the needs of individual students, while documenting student growth and assessment results.
• Develop and implement literacy and math programs that are tailored to the needs of students, while incorporating technology and innovative teaching methods.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education or a related field.
• Valid teaching certification or license in the state where the school is located.
• Proven experience in teaching elementary school students, preferably in a special education setting.
• Strong understanding of curriculum development and instructional strategies.
• Excellent classroom management and behavior management skills.
• Ability to adapt to diverse learning styles and needs, including special education.
• Experience with literacy education and mathematics instruction.
• Familiarity with childhood development and the importance of social, emotional, and cognitive development in the early years.
• Commitment to ongoing professional development and staying current with best practices in education.
