QUALIFICATIONS PREFERRED

Bachelor’s Degree with appropriate MA DESE license; or Master’s Degree with appropriate content area license preferred and/or expected within 5 years SEI endorsement through the Department of Elementary and Secondary Education. Performance Responsibilities:

Design and implement curriculum with well-structured units and lessons. Have strong subject-matter knowledge in the core subject areas. Evaluate student performance through assignments, quizzes, tests, and other assessments, and adapt instruction appropriately. Recognize and address the individual needs of students, and differentiate instruction appropriately. Provide a safe and collaborative learning environment for all students. Engage families and community members as necessary. Collaborate with colleagues and engage in reflective practice. Establish and maintain effective working relationships with school personnel and students. Contribute to an overall school culture where ongoing personal and professional development is valued. Collaborate with educators on support plans for students Establish and maintain effective working relationships with school personnel and students. Communicate clearly and concisely in both oral and written form. Ensure those strategies used support Pentucket’s curriculum goals.
