RESPONSIBILITIES:
Provide daily substitute coverage, as assigned.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Maintains high level of ethical behavior and confidentiality of information about students and their records Provides substitute coverage for teachers, assistants or other educational staff as assignedReviews all plans and schedules to be followed during the teaching dayMaintains established routines and procedures of the school and classroom assigned Teaches the lessons outlined in the classroom teachers lesson plans
ABILITY TO
Communicate effectively with students, teachers, and administrationEffectively apply school procedures and Student Handbook regulationsWork with children of varying abilities, including children with disabilities Maintain cooperative, productive and flexible working relationship when dealing with students and staffSolve practical problems with students and staffUnderstand and carry out oral and written directions
Qualifications:
A valid Massachusetts Department of Education Educators license in Visual Arts Gr.
