Maine School Administrative District 75 (MSAD 75) is seeking a Long Term Grade 3 Substitute Teacher at Williams-Cone School to join our vibrant educational community. Together, we can inspire the next generation of learners and leaders.
Approximate dates are August 25 to October 31, 2025.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Showing passion and a commitment to helping all students learn at a high level.
Contributing to a school culture of appreciation, collegiality, and innovation.
Utilizing skills to be successful with intensive collaboration in a team-based, multi-grade approach to teaching and learning.
Creating an inclusive classroom culture where all students feel they belong, and are excited to learn.
Demonstrating a strong understanding of research-based Literacy and Mathematics instruction and assessment at the intermediate-elementary level, and the commitment to continue professional learning.
Experience with Teachers College workshop model &/or Fishtank curriculum highly preferred.
Strong communication skills with students, colleagues, and parents.
All other duties per teacher contract.
REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Elementary Education.
State of Maine Department of Education Teacher Certification (020) in General Elementary.
State of Maine background check (CHRC) authorization.
Elementary level teaching experience preferred.
