Learning Recovery Facilitator
FLSA STATUS
Non-Exempt
QUALIFICATIONS
High school graduate and one year of training beyond high school or one year of documented experience in this job category. Working knowledge of effective methods of supporting tutoring and/or remediation efforts. Ability to solve minor problems and follow detailed written and oral instructions. Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (word processing, spreadsheet, database) and Google Workspace (sheets, docs, drive, etc.).

Applicant must upload a legible copy of a college or trade school transcript or documentation showing proof of one year training beyond high school in any area.

Employees filling these positions are exempt from holding a Commercial Driver’s License (CDL). While this employee may provide classroom coverage they will not be eligible for a pay differential when providing coverage and will not be eligible for any incentive provided to substitutes.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Supports the implementation of an effective learning recovery program. Conducts learning exercises with individuals and small groups of students. Maintains required records (e.g., student progress, assessment results, tutoring/remediation hours, etc.) Assists with COVID related activities on an as needed basis (e.g., classroom coverage, assisting with lunch protocols, assisting with quarantine reporting, etc.). Follow a structured daily academic schedule. Maintains confidentiality of work related matters. Serves as team player and role model for other employees in the organization; demonstrates a commitment to continuous quality improvement; supports and exhibits organizational core values of caring, respect, integrity, responsibility, high expectations, being customer driven, and valuing fairness. Performs other duties and accepts responsibilities as assigned.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
: Must be able to communicate orally and in writing with parents, staff, and community leaders. Must have finger dexterity and be able to physically perform the basic life operational functions of kneeling, sitting, walking, stooping, reaching, lifting, pushing, pulling, talking, seeing, hearing, and repetitive motion.
