Discovery Years is seeking reliable and passionate Substitute Teachers to support our early childhood education programs. This position provides a great opportunity for educators who enjoy working with children and have flexible availability. Substitute Teachers will step in as needed to ensure a safe, engaging, and nurturing learning environment for our students.

Responsibilities:

Follow lesson plans and classroom routines provided by the lead teacher. Supervise and engage with children in a positive and supportive manner. Ensure the safety and well-being of all students. Communicate effectively with staff and parents as needed. Maintain a clean and organized classroom environment.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s in Early Childhood Education or a related field preferred. Active Subtitiue Teaching Certificate Experience working with young children in a classroom or childcare setting. CPR & First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain). Ability to adapt quickly to different classroom environments. Strong communication and classroom management skills. Must pass background checks and meet state licensing requirements.
