Delaware Valley Job Corps is an education and training centerlocated in beautiful Callicoon, NY. We are a Center which usesstudent-focused programs to ensure successful training andemployment placement for each individual we serve. SCHEDULED HOURS
As needed, on-call hours wouldbe worked between 7:45 AM – 4:45 PM, Monday through Friday ONLY.Substitutes would be called, and scheduled, as needed to maintaincontinuous educational programming.

Substitute SUMMARY:
Responsible for providing instruction and training to students inthe orientation phase of their Job Corps journey. During this 5week period of orientation, students are learning and planningtheir career plans, shadowing trades that they are interested inand testing to determine academic levels. We are looking for aclassroom substitute who can effectively manage a class of 5-10students (varies week to week). During this time, the Substitutewill provide high-quality supervision and management of studentpopulation. The Substitute will take swift and appropriate actionto positively influence student behavior. Qualifications Substitute
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
Bachelor’s degree from an accreditedschool required. A valid NY state teaching certificate ispreferred.
