Ensures classroom is well organized and conducive tostudent learning. Holds students accountable for following Center’sdress code/behavioral standards of conduct. Review all plans andschedules to be followed during the training day. Performs allduties regularly assigned to the academic or career technicalinstructor. Produces quality work/assignments in a thorough, timelyand accurate manner. Maintains appropriate accountability and workproductivity standards. Plans, prioritizes and organizesassignments to meet established goals and deadlines. Understandsand applies job knowledge to effectively complete all required jobresponsibilities. Proactively maintains the skills required toperform job duties. Mentors, monitors and models the Career SuccessStandards as required by the PRH. Provides high-quality supervisionand management for the student population. Takes swift andappropriate action and positively influences student behavior.
Shows respect and courtesy to students and holds them accountablefor their actions and behavior. Provides quality programs andservices for students and ensures that quality is maintained andstudent needs are met. Exchanges ideas and information, both orallyand in writing, in a clear and concise manner and contributesmeaningfully to group efforts by offering relevant ideas andknowledge. Effectively articulates thoughts and ideas. Identifiesproblems, analyzes causes and evaluates appropriate solutions priorto taking or recommending actions. Follows up to ensureprompt/appropriate action is taken and that problems are in factcorrected. Works in partnership with staff from all Departments toensure effective supervision and services are provided to students.
Accepts direction and supervision from the Center Director/CenterDuty Officer/Shift Manager to include assignments to temporarilyperform job responsibilities of other departments and positions.
Other duties as assigned. Qualifications Bachelors degree from anaccredited school required. A valid in-state teaching certificatepreferred.
