Lead and inspire a team of dedicated professionals to deliver top-notch custodial, groundskeeping, and maintenance services. Roll up your sleeves and get hands-on with a variety of tasks, from general housekeeping to technical maintenance projects. Collaborate closely with the Maintenance Manager to ensure our facilities are functional, safe, clean, and well-maintained. What You’ll Bring:
Previous experience in a supervisory role, preferably in a maintenance or facilities management setting. Strong technical knowledge and skills in general housekeeping, building maintenance, and groundskeeping. Job Duties Job Duty Performs safety inspection of facility’s fire extinguishers, exit signslights and emergency lights, emergency generation equipment, lightening protection, personal safety equipment, and other safety related devices on a routinescled basis. Performs security inspections and repairs of exterior doors and windows, roof hatches, lighting systems, burglar alarms and related equipmentsystems as required or allowed by code. Maintains daily operation of heatingcooling and domestic hot water heating systems. Performs minor repairs on electrical, mechanical, and plumbing systems and appliances. (Examples include washersdryers, ice makers ballast replacement, switch replacement, pump replacement, coil cleaning, unplugs sinks and stools, etc.). Performs minor repairs to interior and exterior finishes (Examples include cleaning or touch up painting of walls or ceilings that have been stained by moisture or mildew; ceiling tile or floor tile replacement, carpet repair, painting, glass replacement, cabinet repair, bookshelves repair or replacement, bulletin board repair or replacement, wall repair, door repair or replacement, railing and partition repair, etc.). Performs inspections and minor repairs to exterior (roof, roof drains, down spouts, caulking, tuckpointing, etc.). Performs preventive maintenance tasks for electrical, HVAC and plumbing systems, including but not limited to filter changes, coil cleaning, lug tightening (220V or less), greasing, oiling, wipe down, vibration and temperature checks, blow down, consumableponents replacement (such as packing glands, anode rods, etc.). Perform routine cleaning of breezeways and entrances, including blowing leaves and other debris off hallways, stoops, approaches and steps. Completes and submits the required paperwork (logbooks, timesheets, work orders, material requisition slips, etc.). Communicates effectively with site administrator and maintenance zone leader. Maintains accurate inventory information and orders necessary maintenance materials and supplies in a timely manner. s perform equipmentsystem condition analysis and preparation of information for uing budget year. Maintains records and prepares reports. Coordinates the work of contractors performing maintenance tasks in the facility.
