### Job descriptionAbout the positionThe Oconee County School District is seeking Substitute Teachers to provide instructional support in various classrooms across the Seneca, Walhalla, and Westminster areas. This role is ideal for individuals looking to make a positive impact on students’ lives while enjoying flexible scheduling and the opportunity for professional development. No prior teaching experience is necessary, as free training and orientation are provided.
ResponsibilitiesLead instruction in the classroom by executing existing lesson plansMotivate students to learn and participateAssume duties of the regular District/School classroom teacher promptly and in accordance with school rulesInstruct students regarding a variety of classroom topics/courses of instruction, as determined by the School District’s lesson plan and in accordance with Kelly policyAssign reasonable tasks and homework to students in accordance with the School District’s lesson plansCreate a classroom environment that is conducive to learning and appropriate to the maturity and interests of the studentsAddress the various learning styles of students accordinglyFor long-term assignments, develop lesson plans; devise, administer, and grade tests and assignments.
