Casual Substitute Educator Paisley Hall Nashville, TN 37209 Job Overview We are seeking dedicated and adaptable Substitute Teachers to join our educational team. As a Substitute Teacher, you will play a crucial role in helping to maintain continuity of learning for students in the absence of their regular classroom teacher. This position requires a passion for children, good communication skills, and the ability to play and engage with children effectively. Specifically, this position is for an emergency or scheduled substitute – to fill in on short notice when our regular staff fall ill or have an emergency absence – as well as to cover when there are scheduled absences like vacations or appointments. GUARANTEE

a $200 per month stipend for simply being on our roll and available. Additionally we will pay $25 per day for you to be on heightened alert and ready to come in to work on days when the owners are out of town and full pay on days that you actually work. These are in addition to the $200 monthly stipend. Duties Helping to complete activities and plans provided by the regular teacher to ensure students continue their learning process. Maintain a positive and productive classroom environment that fosters student engagement. Helping manage classroom behavior effectively, ensuring that all students are safe and happy. Communicate clearly with students, staff, and administration regarding any issues or concerns that arise during class. Support students as they move through their day while promoting critical thinking and problem-solving skills. Have fun with our children and our wonderful staff! Skills Desired Strong communication skills to effectively convey information and instructions to students. Experience working with students in various settings. Ability to work seamlessly with others in our comfortable learning/growing environment. You will be taught behavior management strategies to support diverse student needs.
