The Princeton Review is seeking a dedicated and engaging SATInstructor to teach online classes this summer. This positioninvolves providing high-quality, in-person instruction to highschool students preparing for the SAT exam. This role is ideal forindividuals who are enthusiastic about developing their teachingskills in a tech-forward environment and are eager to learn fromour team. Additionally, the candidate should have daytimeavailability to teach one or more of the following scheduletypes: Monday through Friday morning Monday through Friday afternoon Twice a week (morning, afternoon or evening)• Classes wouldmeet for 6 or 12 sessions depending on the course type!
As a SummerSAT instructor, you will be expected to: Empower your students with knowledge about the latest digitalSAT test. Multitask by navigating slides projected on a board via ouronline classroom and managing an in-person classroom of studentsall while presenting test strategies simultaneously andconfidently. Inspire your students through a proven, results-orientedPrinceton Review curriculum to help them become stronger, moreconfident learners. Monitor student progress through the course and communicateregularly with students and Princeton Review staff to ensurestudent success. Demonstrate professionalism and responsibility by beingpunctual, responding to students promptly, and encouraging them tocomplete their assignments. Work closely with Princeton Review’s full-time staff to fulfillstudent requests, coordinate class logistics and maintainconsistency in messaging. Foster an open, safe, and positive learning environment byguiding students with compassion and support.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree or currently pursuing one. Fluency employing technology such as a smart board or projectorin a physical classroom. Experience teaching in a virtual classroomand leveraging an online whiteboard strongly preferred. Exceptional attention to detail and deadlines. Availability to teach morning and early afternoon courses inthe summer. Availability during evenings and/or weekends aplus. Reliable internet connection and computer in a quiet,dependable location during training. Applicants must successfully pass a timed content exam. Pass a 6-week Instructor Certification course upon hiring whichincludes homework assignments and live training sessions.
