They may also support the middle school staff in other areas and in helping students in a small group setting with tutoring and other duties that will support students. Responsibilities Demonstrate an understanding of childhood development and behavior Promote a positive climate Support ideas and policies of the teacher and the administration Establish and maintain rapport with parents and staff Has a full understanding and is in agreement with the Statement of Faith of Silverdale Baptist Academy and has a strong commitment to school philosophy Understand the Mission and Vision of Silverdale Baptist Academy Committed to protecting the culture of SBA Strong and clear Christian testimony Strong commitment to a Biblical worldview Understands that education is an atmosphere, a discipline, a life, and a science of relations Understands that teaching is a ministry Maintains a professional standard of dress and an engaging personality Prompt and continuous attendance on campus High School Diploma Outstanding interpersonal, oral, and written skills Ability to collaborate with teachers and partner with parents Understands that young children require a consistent, spiritual, safe, loving, and nurturing environment Will partner with parents to raise children who have a heart for Christ as well as preparing them for success in future education Physical Demands and Work Environment The position can be physically demanding.
