- What is Required
- BA in Early Childhood Education (ECE) or related field (early childhoodeducation coursework) preferredTeaching License with Early Childhood Education Endorsement preferredAt least two years of experience working within a preschool classroomMust have a valid drivers license, reliable transportation with personalautomobile liability insurance coverage at or above the levels mandatedby the State of Vermont.
- Successful completion of a criminal history background check afterhire.
Head Start is a federally-funded, national child and family developmentprogram which provides comprehensive services for pregnant women,children from birth to age five, and their families. Services forchildren promote school readiness, and include early education, health,nutrition, mental health, and services for children with special needs.
Services for parents promote family engagement, and include parentleadership and social service supports.
