Childcare Assistant Teacher Position Available In Jefferson, Alabama

Childcare Assistant Teacher Lighthouse Child Development Center 3965 Parkwood Rd, Bessemer, AL 35022 Seeking assistant teacher for busy childcare center in Infants and toddler classrooms. Job duties will include direct care of children with diapering, feeding and assist with classroom management. Must undergo a criminal background check, medical exam and TB screening. Must have Health and Safety Training as required by DHR and 12 hour of ongoing training as required by DHR. First Aid and CPR training certification is required. Pay will be based on experience. We can assist you in obtaining training. Pay is based on experience and education in the childcare field. Must be able to work until 5:30 Monday-Friday. Summary As an Assistant Classroom Teacher for Infants and Toddlers, you will support the lead teacher in creating a nurturing and engaging learning environment for young children. Your core skills in classroom management and childcare will be essential in fostering a safe and stimulating atmosphere. With a focus on early childhood education, you will assist in lesson planning and implementing activities that promote literacy and math skills. Your experience with children and strong communication skills will help you effectively interact with students and their families, ensuring a collaborative approach to their development.
