The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in early childhood development and a genuine love for working with children. As a teaching assistant, you will play a crucial role in fostering the social, emotional, and cognitive development of our students, ensuring they are well-prepared for their educational journey ahead. Responsibilities Assist students with daily tasks, such as using the bathroom, eating, and dressing Provide one-on-one support to students in the classroom or in small groups Help with classroom management, including maintaining a clean and organized environment Assist with implementing lesson plans and activities to support students’ educational goals Work closely with teachers to implement and collect data on individualized education plans (IEPs) and adapt instructional materials to meet the needs of students with autism and developmental disabilities Provide behavioral support and strategies to help students manage their emotions and behaviors Communicate effectively with teachers, parents, and other school staff to ensure consistency and progress Assist with supervising students during recess, lunch, and other activities Develop and maintain positive relationships with students, colleagues, and families.
