Job Description
Qualifications:
1. Must hold a valid Alabama Teacher’s Certificate
or
2. Must hold a valid Alabama Substitute Teacher’s License (We will send you an application once
you have applied).
Background Check Required:
(Ala. Code 16-22A-5 ) Upon offer of employment, employees will be
required to submit legible fingerprints for a background review by the Alabama Bureau of
Investigation and the Federal Bureau of Investigation. Background checks must not be more than ten
(10) years old.
Essential Functions:
1. Perform as a substitute teacher
2. Implement lesson plans of absent teachers
3. Maintain proper learning environment in classroom
4. Ensure instructional activities are carried out
5. Exhibit positive human relations skills
