We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Physical EducationTeacher’s Assistant to join our team and inspire young minds through a faith-based curriculum.

Job Summary:

We are seeking a dynamic and passionate Physical Education Teacher’s Assistant to join our dedicated faculty. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to promoting physical fitness, sportsmanship, and a healthy lifestyle among students from Pre- Kindergarten through 8th grade. The PE Teacher’s Assistant will create a safe and supportive environment where students can develop their physical abilities, learn teamwork, and enjoy physical activities.

Responsibilites:

Assists with the development and implementation of a comprehensive physical education curriculum that aligns with school standards and the overall educational goals of the institution. Assists with the planning and assists with the engaging PE classes as directed by the PE Teacher. Foster a positive and inclusive atmosphere that encourages student participation and enthusiasm for physical activity. Assist in teaching fundamental motor skills, sports skills, and physical fitness concepts. Assist in organizing and overseeing school sports events, tournaments, and extracurricular activities. Ensure the safety and well-being of students during physical activities. Uphold and promote the values and mission of the Catholic school.

Qualifications:

Previous teaching experience, preferably in an elementary school setting. Strong knowledge of physical fitness, sports, and health education. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to create an inclusive and positive learning environment. Commitment to the principles of Catholic education and the mission of the school. CPR and First Aid certification (preferred).
