Full Job Description Qualifications:

A two-year college degree, or 48 college semester hours, or Work-keys test required Nine (9) hours of early childhood education course-work or Child Development Associate (CDA) Experience working with pre-school age children is preferred Ability to carry out tasks requiring moderate physical exertion Ability to follow oral and written instruction

ESSENTIAL DUTIES

: Daily attendance and punctuality are required for ensuring that program goals are met Assists pre-kindergarten students individually or in groups with lesson assignments for the purpose of presenting and/or reinforcing learning concepts Implements, under the supervision of the teacher, the instructional program and lesson plans Monitors individual students, classroom, library, playground activities, etc. to ensure a safe and positive learning environment Learns and maintains knowledge of policies Performs routine record keeping and reports and clerical functions Maintains confidentiality of sensitive data and information pertaining to individual students and/or overall program Assume reasonable job-related tasks as assigned by the supervisor in order to meet the needs of the students/school
