- Assist the teacher inpreparing and implementing lesson plans, providing directinstruction aligned with students’ treatment goals. Student Engagement & Development
- Support students’ growthacross academic, social-emotional, and physical domains throughindividualized and structured activities. Supervision & Meetings
- Participate in classroom meetings,team discussions, child review sessions, staff training, andongoing professional development opportunities. Classroom Organization & Maintenance
- Maintain a structured,accessible, and safe learning environment by organizing materialsand ensuring a balance of engaging and appropriate activities. Collaboration & Communication
- Work closely with teachers,therapists, and parents to foster a supportive learningenvironment, ensuring positive and professional communication atall times. Student Transitions & Support
- Assist with classroom routines,transitions, and activities, including field trips, bussing, andbuilding-wide coverage as needed. Daily Living Support
- Provide assistance with toileting,diapering, and other self-care needs to promote studentindependence and well-being.
Required Qualifications:
A bachelor’s degree in any field from an accreditedinstitution. Effective communication and collaboration skills with students,families, and staff. Active listening and emotional intelligence to supportstudents’ needs. Ability to foster a positive, professional school environmentwith patience and adaptability. Basic computer skills (
