Child Nutrition Program Assistant Manager

JOB GOAL

To assist in management of Child Nutrition Program while demonstrating excellent customer service To prepare and serve attractive and nutritious meals in a safe, friendly and efficient manner

CNP Director, CNP Manager, and Principal

SUPERVISES

Assists in supervision of CNP Workers

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

High school diploma or equivalent, Associate’s (2-year) degree or higher preferred Current ServSafe® Certification or successful completion of exam within one (1) year of hire Good public relations skills Ability to master basic computer skills and essential software including email, current St Clair County CNP point of sale software and on-line ordering programs Ability to meet the suitability criteria for employment and/or certification licensure under the Alabama Child Protection Act of 1999 and Act No. 2002-457 Ability to work collaboratively as a team member with large and/or diverse groups Excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills Ability to assist in the supervision and development of assigned personnel according to school system procedures Ability to demonstrate leadership, organization, collaboration, and planning skills to accomplish school goals and job requirements Possess and maintain required health certifications including tuberculin skin test results Strength, stamina, agility, dexterity, and acuity to perform job responsibilities safely and effectively Ability, agility and stamina to engage in prolonged standing, stooping, kneeling, bending, turning, reaching, and repetitive lifting up to 30 pounds Ability and willingness to work after hours, weekends, or holidays when necessary Ability to be punctual and in regular attendance Such alternative qualifications to those listed as the Board may require

PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES AND ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
