August 2025 Position Overview We are seeking a caring and reliable Paraprofessional to join our school team. In this full-time role, you will support students and teachers in the classroom, assisting with instructional activities, behavior management, and daily tasks that help students succeed academically and socially. Key Responsibilities Provide one-on-one or small group support to students under the guidance of a certified teacher Assist with classroom instruction and reinforcing learning activities Support students with special needs, including personal care tasks if required Help maintain a safe, organized, and engaging classroom environment Monitor and manage student behavior in a positive and respectful manner Collaborate with teachers, specialists, and school staff to support individualized education plans (IEPs) Supervise students in various settings, including classrooms, hallways, lunchrooms, and during recess Encourage student independence and confidence through consistent support Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent (required) Experience working with children or in a school setting (preferred) Strong communication and teamwork skills Patience, flexibility, and a commitment to helping students thrive Ability to follow directions and maintain confidentiality Must meet any additional district or state paraprofessional requirements Compensation & Benefits $22/hr with weekly pay Comprehensive benefits package for full-time employees Opportunities for training and professional growth Supportive school community and team-oriented environment Why Join Us?
