The Para-educator performs the daily, routine tasks that establish the basic foundation for a healthy and safe environment. The Para-educator is a member of the teaching team who shares responsibility with his/her classroom teacher for the care and education of an assigned group of children. The specific tasks of each Para-educator will be based on the needs of the students and staff at each school site.
