General Statement:

The Teacher on Special Assignment (TOSA) for ML Student Support is responsible for assisting students in our school buildings to ensure that dually identified students in specialized programs and students in SPS programs such as STEPS, Remote Learning, Anchor, Boys and Girls Club, etc have appropriate linguistic support and participate in annual English proficiency assessments. The TOSA for ML Student Support will provide professional development for staff in these settings as appropriate. See job description attached at the bottom right of the posting for:

Major Responsibilities Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Qualifications Note:

Teachers dually certified in TESOL, Bilingual Education or ESL, with experience in Sheltered Instruction or fluency in a language other than English, will be given preference for all Stamford Public School positions.
