Teacher Assistant (Summer Program/8 weeks) Hagios Early Learning Center 1704 NE 9th Street, Gainesville, FL 32609
Duties:
- Assist the lead teacher in implementing a developmentally appropriate curriculum for children in an 8-week literacy summer program.
- Collaborate with the lead teacher in creating and implementing lesson plans that promote learning and development.
- Assist in behavior management and redirection techniques to ensure a safe and positive learning environment.
- Foster a nurturing and inclusive classroom environment that promotes social-emotional growth.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience working in an elementary school setting is preferred.
- Knowledge of elementary education principles and practices.
- Ability to effectively manage challenging behaviors and implement behavior management strategies.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
