The University of North Georgia is currently accepting applications a a Temporary CUSPELL Program Assistant – Summer Scholars. The Program Assistant will assists the teachers and coordinator with daily program operations as directed. Fluent in English and Spanish (speaking, writing, reading, and listening, as program assistant will be in communication with students’ guardians). The Program dates are June 2-30, 2025.
Assist with program orientations and program preparation, including collection of all forms and materials.
Supervise students to and from buses, during lunch, and during designated program breaks, restroom breaks, and around campus.
Assist with daily operations of the program. Help teachers and students with technical issues, supply delivery, and attendance. Attend staff meetings. Help with data collection and maintenance.
Assist coordinator, teachers, and bus drivers with effectively communicating (fluent in speaking, writing, listening and reading in English/Spanish) with parents and families of Summer Scholars STEM Institute students.
Supervise students to and from buses, to classes and lunch, during designated program breaks, restroom breaks, and around campus.
Collaborate w/ participating school systems. Perform other duties as assigned and requested by teachers, staff, and administrators. High school graduate required.
Spanish fluency required.
Current UNG student preferred.
Experience working with youth in out-of-school academic programs or out-of-school programming is preferred. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite. Resume
