Teacher Assistant at

No Limits Academy – Melbourne, FL A Christian school dedicated to educating children with complex physical disabilities. As a Teacher Assistant, you’ll receive hands-on training in the No Limits™ Method, you’ll be trained in the No Limits™ Method, a unique approach that combines dynamic instructional strategies with therapeutic interventions to promote academic success. Your Role Includes:
Supporting teachers in enhancing student academic, social, and emotional development Assisting with the implementation of physical, occupational, and speech therapy goals Preparing student equipment and assisting with safe lifting and transfers (training provided) Maintaining classroom organization, including materials, closets, and dignity rooms Providing personal care: feeding, medical assistance, bathroom assistance, and emotional support Utilizing educational and assistive technology Communicating effectively with team members, students, and families Participating in trainings and weekly lesson prep work Promoting and modeling Christian values in every aspect of your work
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent (required) Experience working with children with disabilities (preferred) Comfortable with technology Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Creative, proactive, and passionate about working with children A heart for serving others and a desire to learn
Requirements:
Level II Background Clearance (required) Ability to lift at least 45 lbs. and assist students with mobility or personal care. Ability to stand and walk for long periods of time.

July 7, 2025 Monday to Friday | 7:45 AM – 3:00 PM Follows a 10-month academic calendar
