Job Summary:
We are seeking a talented and passionate Hair Braiding Instructor to join our team and teach students (ages 7 and up) in a classroom setting. The ideal candidate will have strong braiding skills, a love for teaching, and the ability to work with students of varying experience levels in a fun, supportive, and structured environment.
Responsibilities:
Teach a variety of hair braiding techniques including basic braids, cornrows, twists, and advanced styles Create and follow a structured curriculum tailored to different age groups and skill levels Provide hands-on instruction and individualized support to students Ensure a safe, clean, and positive classroom environment Track student progress and provide feedback Maintain professional and respectful communication with students and parents Assist with class setup, cleanup, and supply management
Requirements:
Proven experience in hair braiding (professional or instructional) Strong communication and interpersonal skills Patience and the ability to work with children and teens Ability to create a fun, engaging, and supportive learning environment Must be able to pass a background check Prior teaching or mentoring experience is a plus
Preferred Qualifications:
