Full Job Description Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated and supportive Teaching Assistant to join our private school community. The ideal candidate will have experience working with children and a passion for education. Duties:

• Assist the lead teacher in planning and implementing engaging lesson plans tailored to the needs of each student.
• Support students with special needs, including those with autism, in the classroom and during small group instruction.
• Utilize Montessori and special education methods to help students develop math and other essential skills.
• Collaborate with the lead teacher to develop and implement individualized curricula and lesson plans.
• Provide one-on-one support and guidance to students as needed.
• Maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment, ensuring that all students feel supported and valued.
• Communicate effectively with students, teachers, and parents to ensure that everyone is informed and involved in the learning process.

Requirements:

• Experience working with children, particularly those with special needs.
• Experience in a private school or educational setting.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to adapt to changing circumstances and priorities.
• Experience with Montessori and special education methods.
• A passion for education and a commitment to helping students grow and learn.
