We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Teacher’s Aide to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will assist teachers in providing a supportive and engaging learning environment for students. This role is essential in helping to facilitate literacy education and support the diverse needs of children, including those with special education requirements. The Teacher’s Aide will work closely with students, fostering their academic growth and social development. Duties Assist the lead teacher in implementing lesson plans and educational activities. Support students in literacy education by providing individualized attention and guidance. Help maintain a positive classroom environment conducive to learning. Work with children of varying abilities, including those with special needs or disabilities. Communicate effectively with students to encourage participation and understanding. Supervise students during classroom activities, ensuring safety and engagement. Supervise students during breakfast and lunchtime, recess, resource classes, chapel services, and transition times. Assist the school with student pick-up and drop-off times. Prepare classroom materials and assist in organizing educational resources. Collaborate with teachers to assess student progress and adapt instruction as needed. Requirements A knowledge of and relationship with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Experience working with children, preferably in an educational setting. Knowledge of early childhood education principles is highly desirable. Familiarity with special education practices and working with students with disabilities is a plus. Strong communication skills to effectively interact with students, teachers, and parents. Ability to foster a nurturing environment that promotes learning and growth. Experience in private school settings is beneficial but not mandatory. A passion for educating young minds and a commitment to their development.
