Teacher Assistant Tyndale Christian Academy Dover, FL 33527 Overview We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to support our educators in creating a nurturing and engaging learning environment for children. The ideal candidate will have a passion for early childhood education and a commitment to fostering the development of young learners. This role is essential in assisting with classroom activities, providing care, and ensuring the safety and well-being of children. Responsibilities Assist the lead teacher in implementing daily lesson plans and educational activities. Supervise and engage with children during classroom activities, ensuring a safe and positive environment. Support children in their learning by providing individualized attention and assistance as needed. Help maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming classroom space. Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child’s progress and any concerns. Assist with infant care, including diaper changes, feeding, and comforting as necessary. Promote positive behavior and social skills among children through guidance and support. Participate in training sessions to enhance skills related to childhood development and education. Experience Previous experience in daycare or babysitting roles is preferred. Familiarity with classroom settings and early childhood education principles is beneficial. Knowledge of childhood development stages and first aid certification is a plus. A genuine interest in educating children and supporting their growth is essential. Ability to work collaboratively with teachers, staff, and parents to create an enriching learning experience.
