Role:
As a VPK Assistant Teacher, you’ll support the Lead VPK Teacher in delivering a structured, engaging curriculum that prepares our students for kindergarten and beyond. You’ll help create a classroom full of curiosity, discovery, and joyful learning – while ensuring safety, consistency, and fun.
What You’ll Do :
Assist in implementing Florida’s VPK curriculum and daily lesson plans Guide children in activities that promote social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development Foster a warm, supportive, and positive classroom culture Communicate effectively with children, co-workers, and families Maintain a clean, organized, and safe learning environment Help track attendance, assessments, and classroom documentation
What We’re Looking For :
45 DCF training hours completed CDA Preferred Experience working in a licensed preschool or childcare setting Passion for working with children ages 4-5 Dependability, flexibility, teamwork, and a caring attitude Must pass a level 2 Florida Background Screening Why Kiddie Academy?
