Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Teaching Assistant/Spanish Teacher to support our educators in creating a nurturing and effective learning environment for students. The ideal candidate will have experience working with children, particularly in settings that require mixed age/multi-grade levels. This role involves assisting teachers in implementing lesson plans, providing individualized support to students, and fostering a positive classroom atmosphere. Must be fluent in Spanish. Duties Assist teachers in preparing instructional materials and classroom activities. Provide one-on-one support to students Supervise and engage with children during classroom activities and playtime. Help maintain a clean and organized classroom environment. Communicate effectively with teachers regarding student progress and any concerns. Foster positive relationships with students to encourage their social and emotional development. Assist in managing classroom behavior and promoting a respectful learning environment. Teach Spanish to grades K-6 (potentially high school as well) Experience Previous experience in childcare, school settings, or as a nanny is preferred. Familiarity with education practices, youth ministry and working with children is highly desirable. First aid certification is a plus, ensuring the safety of all students. Experience in babysitting or working directly with children is beneficial. Strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with students, parents, and staff members. A passion for education and helping children reach their full potential is essential.
