The ideal candidate will support lead teachers in creating a nurturing and engaging learning environment for students. This role is essential in fostering the development of children’s social, emotional, and academic skills, ensuring that each child receives personalized attention and support. Responsibilities Assist lead teachers in implementing daily lesson plans and activities. Support the development of curriculum that meets the needs of diverse learners. Foster a positive classroom environment that encourages student participation and engagement. Monitor and assess children’s progress, providing feedback to lead teachers. Implement behavior management strategies to promote a respectful and productive classroom atmosphere. Assist with the care of children during meals, nap times, and transitions between activities. Collaborate with parents and caregivers to support children’s development. Maintain a clean, safe, and organized classroom setting. Qualifications Knowledge of childhood development principles and practices. Skills in curriculum development tailored to meet individual learning needs. Experience working with students with disabilities or special education backgrounds is beneficial. Strong math skills to assist children in developing foundational concepts. Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with students, parents, and staff. Ability to manage classroom behavior effectively while promoting positive interactions among students.
