We combine the best of virtual and in-person to create a unique and hybrid experience for all of our student athletes. At Pathway Schools you will be asked to guide a class of 15 kids in a mixed age group through their virtual learning. All curriculum is provided to our student athletes. Our teachers are asked to assist the student athletes and ensure they stay on pace.

Essential Functions:

Supervise student athletes in their education and ensure they’re on track Ensure all your student athletes maintain a 3.0+ GPA. Ensure compliance with requirements; including day-to-day operations, activities, updating player student profules. Create a positive atmosphere, which boosts self-esteem and general self-concept of all participants. Communicate clearly and regularly with parents about the program and their child’s participation. Inform parents/directors on site when there is a behavior problem that cannot be addressed adequately through verbal correction. Partner with facility personnel to ensure cohesive relationship is maintained and facility is used properly. Monitors equipment and facilities for safety and security purposes. Work with the Program Director to ensure that all standards required are complied fully. Maintain close communication with Program Director of all issues concerning the program site. Maintain accurate participant records (attendance and sign in and out records) as required. This includes following up daily on absent children. Uphold all policies and Risk Management / Safety procedures which require reporting all incidents and accidents within 24 hours to the Program Director. Communicates all programmatic issues and information immediately to Director. Document behavior issues and/or incidents daily, as needed. Ensure that the proper staff to child ratios are maintained at all times and reports discrepancies to the Director, as needed. Other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements :

Must have some teaching experience and/or on the way to getting their Education Degree/Certificate. Some experience working with kids. Ability to relate to both children and adults; understand, practice and model appropriate behavior. Character Development values of Caring, Honesty, Respect and Responsibility. Must excel in both written and verbal communication.
