Job Description

Family Central Inc. is looking for a Bilingual Program Assistant that will be responsible for providing general administrative and office-based support for the HIPPY team and program. This is a part time position working 28 hours per week at our office located at 9301 NE 6th Avenue in Miami Shores. If you’re detail oriented and have excellent organizational and multi-tasking skills, keep reading! Specific responsibilities may include, but are not limited to, the following: Provide administrative and data entry support. Preparing agendas/recording and typing meeting minutes; answering the telephone and responding to inquiries; filing, maintaining/updating program forms; assisting with preparation of workshop/meetings. Complete purchase orders/check requests; maintain schedules/calendars and securing meetings. Create flyers, brochures and presentation slides as needed by the HIPPY program. Maintain updated HIPPY binders, spreadsheets and records and track service documentation. Serve as a customer service role model to insure a positive relationship in interactions with all employees. Skills/Requirements Must have a High School Diploma or equivalent, and at least one (1) year of experience in customer service. Must be Bilingual in English and Spanish. Ability to effectively communicate verbally and in writing. Must have transportation and have a valid Florida Driver’s License with full access to a reliable vehicle with appropriate insurance coverage (proof of insurance is required.) Must be computer literate with a solid foundation in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Ability to adhere to deadlines. Must be familiar and comfortable working with diverse populations. Experience with data entry and/or processing. Experience working with Databases helpful.
