Responsibilities and Duties:
Assist in creating and maintaining a room arrangement that is clean, interesting, and stimulating so the child may explore and grow. Assist with gathering the necessary teaching materials before they are needed. Ensure children are supervised at all times – in the classroom, lunchroom, bathroom, and on the playground. Assist with the children’s care, such as changing clothes, washing hands, tying shoes, and more. Perform other functions, as directed, relevant to the position.
Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED. Complete DCF Training hours in a specified period of time First Aid/Infant/Child CPR within the required time frame of the specific program. Bilingual (Preferred) Level 2 Background check and drug test Authorization to work in the USA Must be able to move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 10 pounds without assistance.
