06/16/2025 St. Mary Cathedral Catholic School in Miami, Florida has an opening for a Full-time Teacher Assistant for the 2025-26 school year. The applicant must be nurturing, creative and a dedicated professional with the ability to: support the learning environment, cultivate critical thinking skills, work collaboratively as part of a team, and lead small group lessons. The candidate performs the duties and responsibilities in alignment with the mission, vision, and values of the Catholic Archdiocese of Miami. Salary will vary based on education and years of service.
Qualifications:
Associate degree required; BS / BA Degree in Education preferred.
Must have a minimum of 1 year of experience.
Excellent classroom management skills.
Effective presentation skills with use of instructional technologies.
Proficiency in MS Outlook, Word, and Excel; PowerPoint a plus.
Strong oral and written English communication skills, including clear speaking voice.
Good spelling and grammar are required.
Supportive and respectful of the mission and tenets of the Roman Catholic Church; experience in Roman Catholic environment preferred.
Knowledge of basic tenets of Catholic Church.
Must have a professional demeanor.
