The ideal candidate will have a passion for early childhood education and experience working with children, including those with autism. This role involves assisting the lead teacher in implementing lesson plans, managing classroom activities, and promoting the overall development of students. Responsibilities Assist the lead teacher in preparing and delivering engaging lesson plans that cater to various learning styles. Support children in their daily activities, ensuring a safe and nurturing environment. Monitor and encourage student participation during classroom discussions and activities. Help manage classroom behavior by implementing positive reinforcement techniques. Communicate effectively with students, parents, and staff regarding student progress and needs. Facilitate small group activities to enhance learning in subjects such as math and childhood development. Maintain a clean and organized classroom space, including setting up materials for lessons. Collaborate with the teaching team to create an inclusive atmosphere that supports all learners. Skills Strong background in childcare and early childhood education principles. Knowledge of childhood development stages and effective teaching strategies. Experience working with children, particularly those on the autism spectrum. Proficiency in math concepts suitable for early learners. Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with students, parents, and colleagues. Familiarity with Montessori methods or other educational frameworks is a plus. Ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment. Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for helping children learn and grow.
