The ideal candidate will support lead teachers in creating a nurturing and stimulating environment for children, facilitating their growth and development through engaging activities. This role is essential in promoting early childhood education and ensuring that each child receives the attention they need to thrive. Responsibilities Assist lead teachers in implementing lesson plans and educational activities tailored to the developmental needs of children. Support children in their learning processes, focusing on literacy education, math skills, and other curriculum areas. Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages curiosity and exploration. Help manage classroom behavior and maintain a safe, organized, and clean learning space. Collaborate with teachers to develop individualized plans for children with special needs or requiring additional support. Engage with parents and caregivers to provide updates on children’s progress and address any concerns. Participate in training sessions and professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills. Experience 2 year minimum early childhood education/child care experience CDA/Staff Credential/FCCPC (preferred) CPR/First Aid Creating/Facilitating Creative Activities Familiarity with early childhood education principles, including Montessori methods, is a plus. Knowledge of curriculum development strategies that cater to diverse learning styles. Experience working with children with special education needs is highly desirable. A strong foundation in literacy education and math instruction will be beneficial in supporting children’s learning.
