As a Early Childhood Assistant teacher , you will play a pivotal role in nurturing young minds and preparing children aged 6 weeks to 24 months of age for academic success through our Life Essentials curriculum.
Responsibilities:
Learn and Implement the Life Essentials curriculum to create engaging and educational classroom experiences. Provide a safe and supportive daycare learning environment that fosters children’s social, emotional, and cognitive development. Collaborate with fellow childcare teachers and staff to ensure a cohesive educational approach and a lovely individualized knees on the ground attention to children. Assist the lead daycare teacher in conducting assessments and track student progress to tailor teaching methods accordingly. Maintain a clean and replenished daycare classroom. Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child’s development and milestones. Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills.
Qualifications:
Previous experience in a childcare setting, preferably in a daycare or private school environment. Be open to learn curriculum development and implementation. Knowledge of childhood development principles and best practices. Strong and kind interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively in a team.
