The ideal candidate will support teachers in delivering high-quality education and fostering a positive learning environment for students. This role is essential in assisting with classroom management, curriculum development, and providing individualized support to students, particularly in a private school setting. Duties Assist the lead teacher in implementing lesson plans and educational activities. Support students with their learning needs, ensuring they understand the curriculum. Help maintain a safe and organized classroom environment conducive to learning. Communicate effectively with students, parents, and staff to foster a collaborative educational experience. Participate in curriculum development by providing input based on student needs and progress. Supervise students during classroom activities, recess, and other school events. Assist with toddler care and early childhood development activities when necessary. Maintain records of student progress and behavior for reporting purposes. Requirements Previous experience working with students in an educational setting is preferred. Knowledge of childhood development principles and practices. Familiarity with Montessori methods or similar educational philosophies is a plus. Strong communication skills to effectively interact with students, parents, and colleagues. Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team within a private school environment. Experience in childcare or daycare settings is beneficial.
