The ideal candidate will assist in classroom management, engage with students, and contribute to the educational development of children, particularly those with special needs or autism. This role is essential in fostering a positive atmosphere that encourages learning and growth. Duties Assist the lead teacher in implementing lesson plans and curriculum development tailored to meet the diverse needs of students. Support classroom management by maintaining a structured environment conducive to learning. Engage with students during activities, providing guidance and encouragement in subjects such as literacy and math. Work closely with children with autism and other special education needs, adapting teaching methods to ensure understanding and participation. Help prepare instructional materials and resources for lessons. Monitor student progress and provide feedback to the lead teacher regarding individual student needs. Participate in lesson planning sessions, contributing ideas for effective teaching strategies. Foster positive relationships with students, promoting social skills and teamwork. Experience Previous experience in Elementary as a Teacher’s Aide is preferred but not required. Familiarity with classroom management techniques and strategies for educating children with diverse learning needs. Knowledge of literacy education, math concepts, and curriculum development is advantageous. Experience working with children on the autism spectrum or in special education settings is a plus. Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment.
