• Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that promote the intellectual and social growth of children.
• Provide a safe and nurturing environment for children to learn and play.
• Utilize effective classroom management techniques to ensure a positive learning experience.
• Assess students’ progress and communicate effectively with parents or guardians.
• Incorporate math, literacy education, and other subjects into daily activities.
• Foster an inclusive atmosphere that supports children’s individual needs and learning styles. Requirements
• DCF 45-hour certification
• CDA, Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education or related field.
• Previous experience working with children in a childcare setting.
• Strong understanding of childhood development principles.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of special education practices is a plus.
• Ability to provide quality Infant /toddler care while promoting independence and self-esteem For VPK Lead Teacher position:
• CDA, Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education or related field.
• VPK Program experience.
• CLASS Trainings and observation Records form previous work.
