Job Description

ESE Teacher-(Support Staff K-12) SLAM Palm Beach Charter 2845 Summit Boulevard, West Palm Beach, FL 33406 Overview We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Teacher to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in classroom management and a commitment to fostering a positive learning environment. This role is essential in guiding students through their academic journey, particularly in subjects such as Math and Literacy education. The Teacher will work in a private school setting, focusing on early intervention strategies and behavioral management techniques to support diverse learning needs. Duties Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that align with curriculum standards. Foster a supportive classroom environment that encourages student participation and growth. Utilize effective classroom management strategies to maintain an orderly learning space. Assess student progress through standardized testing and provide feedback to students and parents. Implement behavioral therapy techniques as needed to support students with specific challenges. Collaborate with other educators and staff to create individualized education plans (IEPs) for students requiring additional support. Provide early intervention strategies for students who may be struggling academically or behaviorally. Maintain accurate records of student performance and behavior management documentation. Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field; teaching certification preferred. Experience in a private school setting is highly desirable. Strong knowledge of Math concepts and literacy education practices. Proven skills in classroom management and behavior management techniques. Familiarity with behavioral health principles and early intervention methods. Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and the community. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage effectively with students of varying backgrounds.
